About Ethical Ltd

Bradford, founded 2016

Ethical audit work for people who know a factory is not a spreadsheet.

Independent ethical audits, supply-chain risk reviews and practical remediation support for textile and clothing production, built for brands and factories that need clear evidence without the corporate audit-machine approach.

Trading since 2016, after two decades around mills, production rooms and supplier relationships.

Textiles

Focused on apparel, footwear, soft homewares, textile recycling and the factories that make them.

Written report within 5 working days for a standard UK single-site ethical audit.

Core Work

Three Places Where Evidence Gets Useful

01

Supply-Chain Mapping

We turn supplier lists into a working map of who is actually cutting, stitching, washing, packing or finishing goods. That means named factories, linked subcontractors, homeworker visibility where it exists, and a risk score that shows where to ask the next question.

  • Supplier list cleansing, site type checks and country risk notes.
  • Subcontractor declarations tested against production reality.
  • Clear risk scoring for brands that need to prioritise limited time.
02

Site Audits

A site day combines document review, worker interviews, wage and hour checks, health and safety walk-throughs and a management closing meeting. The tone is calm, but the evidence standard is not loose.

  • Opening meeting and production walk-through, usually from 08:00 where possible.
  • Payroll, time records and contract sampling matched to what people describe.
  • Report and spreadsheet action log that a small factory can actually use.
03

Corrective Action Support

Findings only matter if they lead to repair. We help with action logs, follow-up evidence, small-factory training and brand-side escalation when a supplier needs clearer commercial support to fix a problem.

  • Remote evidence review from £420 + VAT.
  • Half-day on-site follow-up within Yorkshire, Lancashire or Greater Manchester from £780 + VAT.
  • Practical timelines for wage corrections, policy fixes and safer working areas.

Owner Note

Saira still carries her father’s brass pick-glass thread counter in the side pocket of the audit bag, mostly out of habit. It is not needed for payroll sampling, but it keeps her close to the tools, pride and pressure inside the trade being audited.
